Reddit is going to lose its loyal users.
          CNN
(CNN) — On Friday, the social news site Reddit was on lockdown. More than 100 subreddits on gaming, movies, science, etc. went dark for a few hours for the "Reddit Revolt," a reaction to the news that Reddit's communications director, Victoria Taylor, was let go on Thursday. One of Taylor's roles was coordinating the site's wildly popular Ask Me Anything (AMA) series, where celebrities, political leaders, pop culture icons or simply people with interesting stories would answer questions from the Reddit community.

She managed the site’s wildly popular “Ask Me Anything”’ interviews that have included celebrities ranging from President Obama to a guy with two penises.

          NY Times
(NY Times) — PayPal, the online payments company weeks away from an expected spinoff from eBay, took a leap into the growing digital money transfer business on Wednesday by acquiring Xoom, a big player in the field. PayPal will spend $25 a share in cash to acquire the publicly traded Xoom, or about $1.09 billion. Excluding Xoom’s cash and short-term investments and including its debt, PayPal will end up paying about $890 million for the company.

Airlines are colluding to keep fares high.
          Fox News
(Reuters) — (Reuters) - The U.S. Department of Justice said on Wednesday it is investigating whether U.S. airlines worked together illegally to keep airfares high by signaling plans to limit flights. The Justice Department wrote to major U.S. air carriers demanding that they detail decisions to limit the number of seats they offer, and what they've said about those plans to investors, securities analysts and the public. Airlines contacted have been asked to provide "available seat miles on a regional and system wide basis" back to January 2010 and a raft of other data.

Google is skewing its search results to favor its content.
          The Blaze
(The Blaze) — Google has been accused of skewing search results to favor its own products and services before and has been the subject of antitrust investigations. A new study claims to have information that only adds evidence in support such allegations and goes on to show how it can affect consumers. The paper published online by researchers at Harvard Business School, Columbia Law School and the Yelp Science Data Team accuses Google of “promoting its own content” and quantifies how this could lead to “consumer harm.”

There's no reason the market should panic over Greece.
          Reuters
(Reuters) — Eurozone stocks, low-rated bonds and the euro weakened on Tuesday as Greece looked set to default on a repayment due to the International Monetary Fund and to plunge deeper into financial crisis. There was little evidence of panic, however, with investors pointing to Europe's improved ability to fight financial contagion since the height of the euro debt crisis in 2011.
