'Fearing for his life, the Berkeley officer fired several shots, striking the subject, fatally wounding him. The second subject fled the scene.'

An armed 18-year-old black man was shot and killed by a white police officer in Berkeley, Missouri (just two miles from Ferguson). The city released a video that, the mayor says, shows the man aiming a gun at the police and says it cannot be compared to officer-involved deaths in Ferguson and Staten Island. Edit

Banning blood donations from sexually active gay men is insane.
The FDA plans to allow gay and bisexual men to donate blood, but only if they have abstained from gay sex for one year. The ban was placed in 1983, during the start of the AIDS crisis.Edit
